448 KHz CET RET TECAR Therapy Machine
TECAR Therapy, also known as Capacitive and Resistive Electric Transfer (CRET), is a non-invasive 448 kHz radiofrequency therapy used in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal care. As a form of endogenous diathermy, TECAR transfers radiofrequency energy into tissues to produce controlled thermal and sub-thermal effects that can support circulation, pain management, tissue mobility, and the body's natural recovery processes.
The system offers three treatment modes — Capacitive (CET), Resistive (RET), and Joint Mobilization Device (JMD). CET mode is primarily used for soft and muscle tissues, while RET mode is suited to deeper and denser musculoskeletal structures. JMD complements the RF treatment with targeted joint and soft-tissue mobilization with EMS, making TECAR Therapy a versatile solution for pain relief, sports rehabilitation, muscle recovery, joint mobility, and physiotherapy treatment.
Features
- 448 kHz Radiofrequency Technology - for controlled therapeutic energy transfer into biological tissues.
- Capacitive (CET) Mode — Designed for soft tissues, muscles, and superficial treatment applications.
- Resistive (RET) Mode — Targets deeper and denser musculoskeletal tissues such as tendons, ligaments, and joint regions.
- Joint Mobilization Device(JMD) Mode — Uses IASTM tool with light EMS to reduce muscle tension though scraping and massaging the affected area
- Non-Invasive Deep Tissue Thermotherapy — Generates safe RF based endogenous heat within tissues
- Multiple Treatment Applications — Combines RF technology, CET, RET, and JMD functionality in one versatile therapy platform.
- 7.1” Capacitive Touch LCD — Intuitive, responsive interface for effortless control and precise TECAR treatment parameter adjustments.
- 448 kHz CRET Frequency - clinically proven, 448 kHz RF technology promotes cellular ion mobilization while supporting controlled, tissue-safe therapeutic effects.
- Interchangeable Applicator Heads - Different sizes enable precise treatment across both small, localized areas and larger muscle groups,

Clinical Applications
- Knee Osteoarthritis — TECAR therapy is widely investigated for reducing knee pain and supporting joint function and mobility in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
- Chronic Low Back Pain — Commonly used as part of rehabilitation protocols for chronic nonspecific low back pain, with research reporting improvements in pain and functional outcomes.
- Spinal Disorders — Used in rehabilitation for conditions including lumbar and cervical disc disorders and spondylosis, particularly for pain management and improving mobility.
- Tendinopathies — Applied to tendon-related conditions such as Achilles tendinopathy and supraspinatus tendinopathy as part of pain-management and rehabilitation protocols.
- Shoulder & Joint Pain — Used as an adjunctive therapy for shoulder and other joint-related musculoskeletal conditions to support pain management, mobility, and rehabilitation.
- Sports & Muscle Injuries — Used in sports rehabilitation for acute muscle injuries, including hamstring and adductor-related injuries, to support pain reduction and functional recovery.
